    Position Description

    The Quality Technician’s responsibilities will include (with opportunity for growth):

    • Performing and documenting incoming inspections on outsourced and internally machined parts as well as in-process and final inspections
    • Initiating non-conformance reports
    • Supporting the development of quality plans and inspection report templates
    • Performing, documenting and tracking inspection equipment calibrations

    Required Experience/Skills

    The Test Technician’s responsibilities will include (with opportunity for growth):

    • Set-up and execution of component, subsystem, and complete motor tests
    • Support the design and build of test fixtures as part of the test team
    • Maintain test equipment inventory and readiness for testing
    • Support construction activities for test infrastructure
    • Log test activities, record data and complete reports on testing
    • Collaborate with test team on continuous improvement initiatives

    Position Description

    Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Process and Planning will be responsible for the following:

    • The development, implementation, and process ownership of Technology Readiness and Product Delivery phase-gate processes tailored to the current state and specific needs of LC Drives
    • Assisting functional area managers (manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, quality/test, service, and support) in the development of detailed delivery plans/schedules
    • The development and maintenance of the Company’s integrated program plans/schedules

    Position Description

    This customer-facing position will be responsible for modeling, configuring, and assisting in the installation of product solutions that satisfy specific customer application requirements. The Application Engineer will work closely with the LC Drives Motor Engineering team to determine the features and capabilities required to satisfy specific customer applications. The Application Engineer will provide pre- and post-sale technical support to direct and indirect sales personnel including:

    • Conducting customer needs assessments including on-site visits as necessary
    • Serve as motor subject matter expert to customers and LC Drives Sales and Marketing personnel
    • Configuring LC Drives motor/generator solutions to meet specific customer application requirements
    • Identification and integration of third-party solution components such as cooling and control systems as necessary
    • Liaison between LC Drives Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service and Support personnel
    • On-site customer installation support

    Required Experience/Skills

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
    • Basic understanding of electric motor/generator technology
    • At least three years of related work experience, preferably in a customer-facing role

    Position Description

    Reporting to the Director of Product Engineering, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for design activities including:

    • Design and implement software of embedded systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
    • Design, develop, write, test and debug embedded system software
    • Create product specifications, work on design and analysis, and work with motor product designers to implement required functionality including signal processing and data acquisition
    • Interface with hardware design and development.

    Position Description

    Reporting to the Director of Product Engineering, the Design Engineer will be responsible for electrical design activities including:

    • Design and analysis of electrical hardware required for the implementation of smart devices in electric motors.
    • PCB board layout design and documentation.
    • Creating and testing PCB board prototypes and then implementing design to be used in mass production.
    • Smart motor will allow live data acquisition of motor performance including current, voltage, torque, speed, temperatures, coolant flow rates, vibration, etc.
    • Smart board will generate a digital twin of the motor to compare real-life performance with engineering models.

    Required Experience / Skills

    • BS or higher in related field
    • At least two years of prior work experience

    Reporting to the Machines Engineering team, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and integrating mechanical and electrical design activities including:

    • Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving mechanical and electrical equipment used in the manufacturing of liquid-cooled motors
    • Mechanical, structural, fluid, and thermal design of manufacturing equipment subsystems
    • Analyzing manufacturability of parts and tolerances of different manufacturing processes
    • Engineering design and 3D CAD modeling of equipment and assemblies
    • Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
    • Drafting engineering drawings using GD&T
    • Creating electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams
